Is there an app to find out what your partner wants in bed?
Yes: mutual-reveal apps let each of you answer in private and show only what you both want. How they work, which ones exist in 2026 and what each costs.
Updated October 24, 2026

How these apps work
- Each of you answers alone, on your own phone or taking turns on one phone. Neither of you sees the other’s answers.
- The app compares the answers and shows only the overlap: things you both said yes to (and, in some apps, how much each of you wants them).
- Whatever only one of you wanted stays hidden. That is the whole point: asking stops being a risk.
Research explains why this helps. The main reason people keep quiet about what they want is fear of hurting their partner or hearing “no”, and in one large US survey only about half of the people had ever told their partner their favourite fantasy. More on that in our yes, no, maybe list.

What to check before you start
- What your partner sees: only the matches, or every answer? Some apps let you choose; some show everything by design.
- Whether answers can be changed after the result. If they can, one partner can probe the other’s answers.
- Where it runs and who pays: two installs and two accounts, or a browser link; one subscription for both or one each.
- What happens after the result: a list of matches, or ideas you can actually use tonight.

Frequently asked questions
Is there an app to find out what your partner wants in bed?
Yes. Mutual-reveal apps let each of you answer questions about sex in private and then show only what you both want, so nobody hears a “no”. Intimacy does this in the browser with 235 questions and five levels of desire; Spicer and Secret Desires do it in the app stores.
Will my partner see what I said no to?
Not in a mutual-reveal app. In Intimacy, only the interests you both marked appear, with how much each of you wants them; a “no”, a “never” or a skipped question never shows.
Can we do it on one phone?
Yes. Intimacy asks whose turn it is before each chapter and hides the other person’s answers, so you can pass one phone back and forth. Secret Desires also works on one phone; Spicer needs two.
Is it free?
Intimacy is free to start: seven of its 13 chapters have a free result. Spicer and Secret Desires also have free parts and charge for the rest.
